Your Client, Animal and Booking data are highly valueable in terms of the time and potential revenue lost should you lose them. In order to make sure that your data is safe and cannot be lost in the case of a system or software problem, you are strongly recommended to follow these steps:

1) Make sure that 'AutoBackup' stays configured so that every time you close KennelMaster the backup file is updated

2) Every evening, take a copy of the backup file and add it to a dated archive on a seperate media such as a memory stick, external harddrive or different computer on your network. You can find the 'KennelMasterBackupFile.bak' backup file in the main application folder which is C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Copper Software\KennelMaster\ by default. Keeping an archive of recent backups means that should the current backup file itself become corrupted, you are always able to use one from the previous day and minimise the disruption caused.
